We are committed to complying with all relevant legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and current environmental laws and regulations. Our approach to compliance with these laws sets a minimum standard for the development of our new systems and procedures. We regularly review relevant legislation and address new requirements where necessary. Additionally, we provide intensive ongoing training to employees to ensure they are well-informed of their full safety and health obligations. With quality being a key ingredient to our success, we have developed an in-house quality assurance system to monitor and eliminate any elements that could compromise performance.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Umlondolozi Fire and Security (Pty) Ltd places significant emphasis on the conservation of our environment and the well-being of our communities and employees. Therefore, we shall not engage in any activities that may be detrimental to the natural environment. If any of our activities negatively affect the environment, we will take all necessary steps to rehabilitate the environment. In cooperation with all our employees, we ensure the implementation of this policy across the full spectrum of our operations, including:
- Smoking only in designated areas.
- Disposing of waste properly in waste bins.
- Adhering to our client’s waste management policies. In the event of exposure to hazardous conditions, appropriate precautions will be taken to ensure the health of our employees and communities is not compromised.
